What happens in August/September that = Hiring Rush? Every year, companies across the country start hiring to replace seasonal summer workers and to staff with an eye toward the holidays. But this year, the Covid Relief Federal Unemployment benefits will be ending on September 6, 2021. That means in August and September, even more potential candidates will be coming into the job market. PLUS, if you have ever your goal is to be a journeyman plumber, the first week of September is when plumbing schools get started. That's where Mr. Rooter Plumbing comes in!

We are a locally owned, full service plumbing company; looking for people to enter the plumbing trade as Plumbing and Drain Service Technicians. This is a physical and dirty job. If you have seen the show "Tough as Nails", then you get the idea. But more importantly, it's a stable, always in demand and well paying job you can make into a career! In addition to the physical side of the work, you have to be comfortable working with your hands, figuring out problems and taking care of customers. Of course, if you have experience in any of the trades, it's always a plus. But if you don't, not to worry because we will train you.

Specific Responsibilities:

Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments
Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems
Explain diagnosis of problem, the solution(s) to fix and the cost in professional and clear language to the customer
Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition

Job Requirements:

Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass background check including driving record review and drug screen
Able to work in fast paced, always changing environment
High comfort level working in customer homes and businesses
Excellent communication skills to explain technical information in plain terms customers can understand
Provide own hand tools necessary to the trade

Benefits:

High Income potential depending on experience and drive: $45-60,000+ per year
